This is a beautifully lit photo that gives a mood of romance and has several nice layers to it. I like the framing through the front window and the open door window at left. At right, the women’s expression brings you back into the center focus of the image, the kiss.

This is another of the Cartier-Bresson-like images that capture a private moment in a beautiful country setting. The little tilt of the photo gives it a sense of motion and the dog adds a priceless detail.

Great find in this. I love the surprising wave and the juxtaposition of the person at right looking at the passing car. It's a great "ender" to a wedding album, etc. It also has that timeless feel to it with the wave. I want to add, though, that while this is top for me, I think this category overall is fairly weak, so it's the best of a category that could be stronger.

My goodness, what a wonderfully innocent scene, hearkening back to W. Eugene Smith’s “The Walk to Paradise Garden.” This image is timeless, suggesting the new road, the new path that the bride and groom are on. The children represent the life the bride and groom are leaving behind, maybe even a little reluctantly, and they get a final glimpse as they leave the scene. Beautiful image.

This photograph has a lot of nice qualities. The wedding couple is framed beautifully through the window emphasizing their expressions of happiness. The guests fill the rest of the frame including a reflection of one in the window of the car. There is a lot of really nice energy in this photograph.

For capturing sheer joy, this photo is it! There is no other way to describe the expressions on the faces other than priceless. The photographer left in just enough of the environment to give the photo a rich ornateness. Great composition is the result of that.

This is a beautiful photograph aesthetically by the color and graphics of the image.

Very nice moment in the subway that's intimate in a public place. I think that's the strength of this photo. I wish the photographer would have worked the surrounding elements more to play into the essence of this photograph, meaning to be more aware of what's going on in a looser manner - I think there could be a better moment for sure on the subway.

Now there’s an unusual method of transportation. Lifting the bride off the boat and suspending her in mid-air give the picture a bit of a surreal feel. Very nicely composed with a spectator slightly off to the right to give the image a bit more of a cinema verite quality.

The gritty subway scene frames the quiet moment between the bride and groom creating an interesting photograph.

The interesting thing about this image is the juxtaposition, and I really like the framing. The man at left makes it for me, good seeing on the photographers part to include this.

This is a wonderful moment captured. It demonstrates the right time and place. I love seeing the guests peaking through the windows at the happy couple.

OK, so it's not a very exciting photo, but it's surprising and I really liked that the photographer saw the ticket. It's something I haven't seen before and it's well done within what existed, so nice job.

Nice moment of a bride and groom riding a train where other riders at right that are included help give the photo an urban feel.
