Absolutely beautiful image. I can imagine it blown up to 20x24 hanging on the wall and never getting tired of looking at it. There is so much texture and detail there and the photographer did a nice job of using shallow depth of field and selective focus to keep it from being completely overwhelming. The shallow focus is used well here to help create an ethereal tone and mood. Helps to have such an interesting subject, nonetheless, stunning photo!

Very well composed.
This is the epitome of a great detail. It is a moment in and of itself but it allows the viewer to really get inside that moment and see what the photographer saw. Way to take a risk and go tight and taking that risk was rewarded big time by a great, sexy photo.

Great picture, nice timing, the shoe just moving is very good. Also, I like the light over the dress.

Nice details and angle of the capture. For me, the man on the left is disturbing the picture. Better if you crop it.
This was very close to taking top honors from me. Such great seeing by the photographer to catch that little detail as the bride is on the move. The fact that the garter is black, slightly unusual I think, helps to bring your eye there and really highlights the fact that the photographer was paying attention to details. Great photo, a classic!

I love the attention to detail here, from the texture of the seersucker fabric and the pattern on the tie to the flower on the lapel.

Very good detail of a modern wedding. Looks like a wedding of Blackberrys.

Good on the photographer for keeping attentive and making this picture that tells us about the couple and makes us wonder, “What are they doing in the subway?!”

Loved this simple understated detail of the bride and groom dolls on top of the cake, I assume. This beat out other similar images by its purely graphic simplicity. There is just something about those little things that always makes me laugh.

The perspective makes this picture. Props to the photographer for finding a different and fun angle to see the scene and capture the dessert in an unexpected way.

Photographing the note a groom leaves for his bride is such a simple photo and idea, but one that adds another dimension to the coverage of a wedding.
