The color from the neon sign reflecting on the paving exaggerates the rain nicely and sets an interesting scene. I would have liked to see the bride and groom a little closer and maybe a slight crop from the top of the pic.

What great light, texture and moment all together. It's a case where the tilted horizon works beautifully and doesn't feel forced. Her veil leaves the image in the top left corner and the railing leaves at the bottom left.

What a marvelous moment, funny and originally. The woman in the background disturbs a little. And it would be nice, if the bride and the groom were more present by a better picture handling. But finally a winner photo.

Likewise another dark somber wedding that's made even more dramatic by the foliage in the foreground. Could only work in b&w. This photo looks a bit like the opening of a British film. The texture of the groundcover is really nice. The first car is caught nicely between those two trees. There's something about this photograph that just puts you right there in those woods and makes you shiver from the damp of the rain.

Every brides nightmare in a 60th of a second. Very funny.

The bride shows unbelievable in the rain, much beauty and elegance. I like that the picture operates with simple means. It does not need effects. It is simply beautiful, however thus, how the photographer set the bride in scene.

I get the impression that this wedding has either been (or going to get) ruined as a result of nasty weather. This appears to be the magic frame that catches the lightning strike in action.

A funny idea. The picture resembles an advertisement from a high polish magazine. The colours and the light are perfectly. The framing of the picture is optimal. But I miss the ease of the other photos. It seems to me too much placed

Another picture editing moment. Can't help it. If you crop the pants with the blown-out highlights and do the same from the top, you get to the essence of the photograph without being distracted by its flaws. Very nice grab.

Love the rain drops on the lens. Great moment!

This picture looks like it's been captured on the run in an attempt to beat the storm making it look quite dramatic. The strands of hair blowing across the brides face would indicate an imminent soaking is not far off.

The two uncovered make this image special. The arm over the shoulder, very nice the photographer saw this.
Photographer's Comment
The ceremony started late, dark clouds were rolling in, and it started to rain. I always bring a few spare umbrellas and back up equipment in case the unexpected happened. The payoff was that the couple in the center of the image weren't prepared, but were surrounded by those guests who were. That made the photo.

I like the patterns, texture and reflection in this shot. Great sense of location although I would like to have seen it shot a bit closer. The rain on the timber paneling in the foreground is good but it dominates the whole picture.
