I love the effect that shooting hard against the low sun has achieved in this picture, it lends a mysterious quality and gives a raw feel with the flare it has produced.

A terrific, rich photograph—richness in subtle color as well as shadow, light and expression all combine to make this a very strong photograph.

A mixture of space, composition and light make this an interesting pic, it has a wonderful ambience and I'm curious where this couple could be heading.

What a beautifully composed photograph. Each foot (except one) is in a place which allows the viewer to see it cleanly and get a bit of a sense of the people who you cannot see. I might add that for some reason, you get the feeling that none of these people is a good dancer. Each of their positions is awkward.

Awesome use of lone lamp and dark alley. Cool shot.

What a wonderfully playful moment with so much going for it. It has both shadows and nice light. The kids in shadow on one side are terrific with their hands in the air and the boy on the other side—all placed beautifully in the frame and the lovely addition of the little girl on the left, gracefully picking something up and the great texture and color in the walls with the blue light make this a wonderful photograph.

Fun use of natural light. Love the moment too. Great perspective.

The light is terrific and the juxtaposition with the elegant hand and the nasty cigarette work beautifully together. The slightly angled framing enhances the composition and makes it more dynamic. It gives it a yin/yang sensibility.

A beautifully mysterious photo. She is framed nicely with the flowers in the doorway and the lines of the cabin work to guide you towards her.
