The highlight separating the young girl from the bride and groom is perfect. The picture wins just on its merit for the feeling and emotion the picture exudes. A simple and classic shot extremely well executed. We have seen this before but it is just so well done.

When it comes to moments this picture has it. The kiss, the kids in the wedding party watching and then the ultra cool moment of the bystanders watching – then to top it off, one of the children acting as a photographer and taking a picture. Clean, simple, well composed and just a great moment that makes the viewer smile – even if it is not from a wedding they were involved in. The fairly even toned background keeps the viewer focused on the main event. It should have been tighter with the top 20% and some of the left and right both cropped out.

The photographer really took a chance by keeping his/her distance and went for something different. It paid off. The flare from the bulbs is a nice touch and adds that extra ethereal touch

The way the moment is perfectly captured with the eyes of the groom mimicking the groom's lips. The composition using the non-distracting dark/out of focus background to concentrate the viewer on the face

This is a beautiful capture and framing of a very brief moment; a good portrayal of the couple as well.

There is a wonderful composition to this image. I love the hands touching the bride's head in unison as well as the expressions of solemnity. This moment captures the importance of the ceremony as well as the intimate emotions of this family.

Everything comes together here for a wonderful moment. The patriarchal figure's expression makes the whole picture really shine. I appreciate the photographer stepping back, waiting for that right moment, all the while keeping an eye on the details like the grooms hands, the brides' parents' expressions and the groom's smile. Great composition.

This image captures the relationship between the bride and her dad (I am assuming this relationship of course). She is seeking his approval and he is giving it to her. The creative composition and brilliant use of reflection is evident in this case. The exposure could have been deeper, but an excellent image. Very clear and graphic moment of what looks to be a few last words of advice from dad.

The color and texture of this image is beautiful. It is a very well seen image that creatively uses the elements available to the photographer. It works on a literal as well as symbolic level. I only wish there had been a bit more light on the groom so he popped a bit more out of the background.

This is an amusing image that looks as though it was made at a very serious moment in the ceremony.

A celebratory moment beautifully framed. Showing guests and the bride, although I wonder where the groom might be?

This is how everyone should feel after they get married. The exuberance in the picture is contagious. Technically the image might be lacking the details in content of the moment it is just spot on.

The use of light and composition is exquisite in this image. The boy's head floating in the gowns of the bridesmaids is a lovely touch. It expresses the boy's feelings of being nervous or maybe feeling lost in the event. That there is something much bigger than him taking place and he is a small but beautiful part of it. A great example of a "quiet" image expressing a beautiful moment.

A voyeuristic style of image. As a viewer I feel like I am getting a glimpse into the pre-wedding ceremony. The image captures the final moments of a woman before she becomes the other half of a union of two people. Being a man, this image reveals information to me that I had not seen before. I love the framing and the choice of lens as well

This is a rich and colorful detail image. Offering a close-up that really works and gives some information about the exoticism of this particular ceremony.

COMMENTS: The groom just has a great expression and I was enamored with the fist pump! I don't mind him being out of focus, it kind of cements his expression into an abstract form which somehow makes it more memorable. Nice job capturing a well composed moment in what looks like a pretty low light situation.
