Another nice server picture. I like the angle and the architectural detail. The exposure picking up the available light in the two flanking rooms give this a nice three-dimensional quality.
Different view of a routine part of a wedding.
Nice graphic composition with a little added moment between the wait staff. It’s shot maybe a tad bit too loose for me, maybe a little more tension compositionally would have emphasized the graphic elements of the trays and glasses with the curved line.
The s-curve line of servers and the colors and mixture of textures make this image.

An unexpected moment with an unexpected result, the groom getting smushed. A real slice of life, true moment captured.

The lighting, colors and intensity of the trumpeter combine with some distinctive detail on his coat and instrument.

Nice job of creativly documenting what we do. May have been a bit better if the bride's face was more visible.

A rather grim group, but striking in it’s own way. It begs more questions than it answers, but I kept coming back to this photo because of its compelling nature. You want to know more, it intrigues us - or it does me anyway.

I liked that the ladies were oblivious to this amazing acrobat, the contrast added to the circus like atmosphere.
Photographer's Comment
This wedding was SO fun! The groom was a Hollywood screenwriter and they had connections that led to world-class contortionist dancers at their wedding reception. The artist on his hands here, has been a stunt double in many movies, and regularly performs around the world for high end clientele such as Gucchi and Prada. This image got me a call from Brides Magazine publishing headquarters in NYC! This couple found me through this same WPJA website, and asked me to take zero formals throughout their two day wedding coverage because they loved my documentary style so much. That was a HUGE compliment to me, and with their trust, we captured many amazing images.

Great way to document the wedding videographer while keeping the focus on the wedding and the bride.

Nice color and graphic quality. Vendors, again, can be a bit boring or static but the light and the rhythm of this works.

Random is the first word that comes to mind. This is just strange and very un-wedding like, at least the weddings I’ve been to. I really want to hear this band… A picture not all photographers would make.
