Very nice moment here and I felt like the couple were true to themselves.

This portrait oozes personality! Everything works, the low angle, the grass, and the kicks as they hold hands. The couple seem like they are very fun and their wedding would be a blast.

The bride pulling the groom’s tie and the alley setting was great. Depth of field was a helpful piece of this picture.

This is a fun and clever take on John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s bed-in, love it! I love the inclusion of what I assume to be friends and family, especially the guy with the press card in his hat. The frame is filled to capacity and I also love that all the information the viewer needs for the announcement is actually in the photograph.

Outstanding!! We should all like an engagement photo like this. Great mood/atmosphere, sexy, intimate are the highlights of this photo. Not the least of which is mystery. You can tell too much information but this one denies us a certain amount, which keeps us intrigued and interested for a long time. There is a great deal of expert technique behind this seemingly simple portrait. Someone knows what he/she is doing.

I could feel the kiss in this photo and I liked the raw surroundings. There were a lot of self conscious portraits in this category and this felt like a very real moment.

The voyeurs watching the couple kiss and the compositional elements make this a great engagement photo.

This was a fun portrait, even the dog photographed well. Peeking around the tree makes for a playful portrait.

Super fun, sweet and full of love, what I assume an engagement portrait should be. A real laugh from the groom and the smushed nose on the bride make it real.

The dogs are great. Watching the couple and the feeling we are watching two couples walking along a country road. Very cute photo. A step to your right would have cleaned up the background between the couple’s head.

Liked the street shoot feel, and found moment.
I feel like this is a scene in a movie. It’s got a great feel and sense of time between this couple in love standing still, like their love protects them from the insane pace of the world around them. An interesting tension in the moment and composition adds to that feel.

This one has a great mood and feel. The body language and framing of the couple is perfect and speaks to my obsessive-compulsive compositional tendencies. I do think it would have been better cropped or shot tighter though. I’d take the building out of the left and come down from the top, keeping the true horizontal dimensions.

This kissing portrait stood out from the others because of the composition, the dog, and the dog's ears. I just wish the feet were not cut off.

Nice use of the puddle to create the image. Nice lines in this image.,

Couldn’t run this in the local paper and the grandparents may not want a copy of it, but the bride and groom will cherish it forever, which is exactly the point. The coming together of two people is accentuated by joining them with the street lamp and leaving all the space on either side. Well done.

This portrait is fun and colorful and tells people that the couple isn't afraid to have fun, even at their own expense.

Another simple and to the point picture that couldn’t have been done much better. Although it lacks the fun or originality of some of the other winners, it’s cleanness and pureness of love and composition make it work.
