This is just a killer frame all the way. The layering in composition and information is what a lot of photographers strive for, those that care about layers. So many great elements, the bouquet left on the seat, the old timey car, the bride’s veil, the dog, the man reflected, the guests through the widow, the texture of the old seat. Anyone can settle in and take a trip through this picture.

Sometimes you have to get a little lucky, but Bresson said, “We should pay attention to those who are consistently lucky.” I’m guessing this photographer has been lucky often because they know how to capitalize on it. Clean, simple little moment, found and captured well.
The luck with the butterfly and the skill of the photographer combined to make a very nice detail shot!
The butterfly is such a beautiful surprise and photographed perfectly. It’s lovely with the clasped hands of the bride and groom included. Just the dress and the butterfly wouldn’t have been anywhere nearly as effective. You know it’s a wedding and you know it was a special little moment when the butterfly landed on her. The luck with the butterfly and the skill of the photographer combined to make a very nice detail shot!

The patterns and reflection of the couple make the viewer look for more in this image. Going through the take, it immediately stopped me and screamed out to look closer. The exposure is dead on and enhances the reflection.
Photographer's Comment
I was in a mountain little town. During the ceremony the weather was good although the sky was covered. When I got into the old town center for a photo session the thick rain had already started. We decided to go in a sheltered place nearby. The bride's and groom's silhouettes play on the wet sidewalk inspired me to capture a few unusual photos. I shot several times walking in parallel with them, trying to keep their pace. I used 2/3 diaphragm exposure for making the couple's shadows more dramatic. ,

Very nice and unusual detail shot. Everything came together, the light, the location, the people, the chrome bumper and the license plate. Well done.

Great composition, lighting, and the toe nudge was perfect added detail.

Loved the movement and the uniqueness of this detail pic.
Beautiful simple detail. The shallow depth of field and slow enough shutter speed emphasizes the movement of the ribbon. A lovely use of the soft light too. Great composition with the framing of the bend in the road just inside the ribbon and the separation between the car and the side of the road. I can feel the movement of the car on the country road.

This image made me look again and again. The composition with the bride and groom in the background out of focus while the detail “Just Married” commands our attention.

Hand gesture was very sweet and tender, a picture you can feel, loved the textures in the clothing.

Great use of black and white. I like the tension of the ring on the edge of the frame and all the space below the shoes that allow them to dangle. If this photographer’s wedding business slows down they should consider product advertising.

Funny moment, and unusual. Quickly grabbed and shared. If I were nit picking I might wish for one more stop of depth of field, but then, perhaps, I might not like it as well. The funny thing about photography is that no one has all the right answers. Mostly we know what moves us.
Not a typical detail shot, but very unusual.

The colors work perfectly together as well as the writing on the CD. I'm normally not much of a fan of tilted horizons, but it works here because it feels like a balancing act.

Perfect shaft of light forming a heart with the bride and groom in the background. The merger at her neck is the only distraction for me.

A nice image that has captured something very different that most people would not see just walking past. The photographer had to perfectly line up this one for it to work. Great job creating a cross!

I liked the use of the bench to bring the viewer to the shoes. The yellow pops and adds to the placement. Different take on brides shoes.

Who would think to look at the back of the bride and see the imprint of the chair design? Good job at thinking about unusual details!
