Great Natural Light

Beautiful! There is just enough light from the street lamp and enough detail in the buildings to give us a sense of place. We feel as if we are there. It is a beautiful photograph.

Great light, lovely shadows and the extra moment of the girls arm out on the far left round this image out to a top choice.

The reflection just jumped out at me the first time I viewed this image. Nicely composed.

Great light makes this a great picture. The composition and subjects may change, but great light is just great light. The hardest part can be exposing properly.

I noticed the Bride and her father perfectly placed and ready to walk down the aisle and got this image. Still one of my favorites today.

Another one of my favorites from the first moment I saw it. The richness of the shadows - terrific! The sense of the walk with dad (assumed) just before the big moment and the bride looks back at herself in the mirror. The beauty of this natural light is it gives us just a few little pieces of light that tells us just enough, and the rest is left to be discovered in the shadows. And the shadows are open enough for us to glean that information.

Talk about the magic of light, light hitting the bride just right, a beautiful picture.

I love the inclusion of the lights in the background as well as the perfect exposure for the flame and face. The lit face would have been a nice frame on its own but the lights take it to another level.

Love the placement of the couple and the patterns of the windows above them. The colors really added to this image.

This photo has a painterly appeal and delicate body language.

Great use of light and harsh shadow. This picture is more sophisticated street photography than anything else. Focusing on the woman with the interesting body language but including the bride in the background works well.

Great light, and then the photographer found a soft tender moment but also used foreground devices and shadows to give us a sense that we are peering into a private moment. All the elements were brought together to make a wonderful photo.

The combination of the patterns and shadows bring you to the couple. Add the light to the equation and you have a wonderful picture. Everything just seems to work for this image.

Taking a step back to including the whole room and the gorgeous shaft of light falling on the bride and groom was smart execution. Also, showing this unique gathering of people was a must-have overall. The shaft of light adds to the earthy quality of the ceremony.

The window light just adds to this touching image. You’ve captured a special father-daughter moment. I’d crop out the doorframe on the right and rotate the image to correct for the horizon line.

I’m not sure what the source of this light is, but whatever it is, it should be with us at all times. Moment is great, expression is great. There’s just enough bouquet to keep it form looking too sterile. I could do with about half as much of the dark area on the right side of the photo though. “Great Natural Light”

This could be a movie still, the light is very vibrant and exciting, loved the vast.
