TTD - Rural

This photo stood out from the rest by far as it really makes us laugh as we sit here and think about the cake in face shot. With the slow shutter, the viewer feels like they are right in there with them. Nice candid TTD. Also, featuring a groom TTD 'pie in face' makes us wonder if he picked her up and tossed her in the lake.

When we think “rural†we defiantly visualize remote areas or even CORN FIELDS. What bride would ever want to go in a corn field? Great composition and nice layering with the background hay bails.

We love the cows and even more, the small pup participating here. The photographer's choice in framing here would have distracted us but thanks to the pup, the frame has incredible balance for us. The wind is helping with the trashing too!

Perfect lighting here. The leaves provide a nice texture and the shallow depth of field allows the eye to go from her arm down the curves of her figure...very pleasing to look at.

First we're thinking, "How did that bride get up in the tree?" We get that trashing is on her mind and wish we could see the shot where she dives in the water. We love the textures of the moss and the flowyness of the dress next to the moss. We almost wish the framing was slightly less confusing as our eyes tend to get lost in the negative space above her.

We like the texture of the rocks and the contrast between the softness of the fabric of the dress and veil. We'd like to see the end of her feet.

Obvious mid-day light which makes for tough shooting. We like the sun hitting the jewels on the dress, creating a magic sparkle.

There was a trip where we ran in the fields of Iowa and explored the landscape. That trip led to lots of small biting insects that itch the skin in many wrong places. This bride & groom are willing to risk it all and doing it in a hurry!

We both visualize the hike and the anti-wedding dress attraction of this location photograph. The flare helps tie the composition together for us. Next time, bride & groom hang gliding from the same cliff?
