Wow, what a moment! Excellent job capturing parallel worlds. The girl's expression is so acute yet the adults seem oblivious to the drama. The girl's clenched fist and forwardly bent body are wonderfully captured. Both girls' faces are beautifully placed in a non-distracting section of the bar. Also, this image is evidence that corners don't need to be overly burned.
Another fun, surprising moment. I like the tight framing – it's clean and a quick read. It makes me laugh every time I look at it.
Love the profile angle that not only catches the stuck-out tongue but the neck resting over the back of the chair. The composition is strong due to the clean background and including just enough hand and curling iron to give context. Excellent crop.
The expressions on the three children in the foreground of this photograph and the clean framing of the image make this photo a winner. Would have been nice to frame the picture a little better horizontally at the bottom of the frame.
The joy captured on this boy's face exudes radiance. His young face is a wonderful contrast to older gentlemen musicians. A very dynamic composition. The boy's head is placed nicely between the guitars. And the inclusion of the hand and the guitar on the right adds context nicely.
There were a number of versions of kids doing what they wanted to during the service, but this one captures the total unselfconsciousness of this fluffy little flower girl playing with her flowers in the middle of the service as if she were in her bedroom alone with her imaginary friend.
The photographer captured wonderful expressions on both children. The composition could be stronger with a slight tilt downward to the right, which would reduce the amount of empty wall above the boy's head and eliminate the distracting white pillow on the right. But an excellent job grabbing the great moment.
This photo is really bizarre and I like that. I also like the lack of reaction from those around him. Good find.
A young boy decided to throw a blanket over his head while dancing during the reception. I had my assistant holding the key flash on a light stand off to the left. The light and positioning of bodies in the background, the texture in the pink dress, as well as the cut off heads of the adults give this photo a bizarre sense of mystery, which I love.
Can't help laugh when you view this photo with the two little girls very symmetrical, waiting at the bar for a drink. The bartender's expression brings another level of fun to the image. Composition works well with this image
Nice moment of this boy readjusting his pants as his buddies stand still like they are supposed to. This is one that the family will be laughing at when he's 30 and still can't get his clothes on right
Love the spontaneity of this image with the two girls that are really enjoying themselves. Great stopped action with one of the girl's ponytails flowing in the air. Nice that both girls are wearing similar dresses.
