A tender moment. It is framed nicely and the moment is not lost by the photographer. Nice emotion captured between this father and daughter

Nice quiet moment of a child in the arms of one of the guests. I like the composition of the champagne glass and the child's expression. Quiet. Nice. Simple elegance. Glad the photographer resisted the temptation to go tighter. Negative space emphasizes the emotion. The feeling and the light to convey the feeling makes this photograph a winner. The cropping (in the camera or in the print), isolates the important information to be set forward in this image.

This is a nice reaction shot. Every woman has a great expression on her face. Nice composition and joyful expressions as guests react to pictures.

This slice of Americana reminiscent of Bill Owens's suburbia is a funny play on the rehearsal dinner. Several layers here add to the humor from the hotdogs on the grill, to the dogs waiting patiently to the flowered dress and blue jean clad people in the background. This photo really works in color! Fun, quirky picture. Composition drew my eye in to the pups. For dog lovers this picture is an important part of the wedding story. The eye that preserves this important part of the wedding is perhaps why families commission a photojournalist view of their wedding.

This is just a fun photo. Simply made. A light moment before the wedding. Silly, but it works

I really get a sense of the family in this picture. Feels like something profound has been said.

This is a fun reaction photo of this bride and groom as musicians play behind them. The background is a little too dark. This photo captures a genuine moment, which I think can be hard in these types of settings. The foreground is a bit distracting, but it is still a powerful image.

This one told a story for me. Good still-life of the event. Glad he/she left the dirty plates in. Gone, but not forgotten. A nice remembrance. Nice detail. Well seen. I like the straightforward lens.

Children get bored easily. Especially around adults. This picture captures such a moment perfectly. The expression on the mother and child's face says it all.

The new cameras are making this type of picture a cliché, but someday people will look at this scene and laugh at this technology. This photograph is well composed (that was easy) and the image on the camera screen is clear.

This is a very refreshing photo. The photographer stepped outside the traditional banquet hall setting to capture the wedding party hitting golf balls into the ocean. I wish there were more photos like this one.

I like the use of natural light and the expression on the man's face during this dance. The photographer captured the guest's expressions nicely balancing out the photo.

I'm imagining that this is the father of the bride sitting there trying to figure out how he is going to pay for it all. If he is just a guest, that is okay too. Gotta see the edges to tell the story.
