The backlight and composition makes this a beautiful image. It has a timeless quality to it. You can almost smell the salt of the ocean. Certainly this is an image that this couple has hanging on their wall.

The picture seems to be a continuation of the painting it fits perfectly; in the lighting as well as the colors.

What I usually don't like in wedding pictures is that they are often too much orchestrated, organized. This is a really nice, natural, photojournalistic picture about daily life more than about wedding. There is a story in the gestures, in the faces of the couple, in the open boxes on the bed, in the painting on the wall. Great shot.

An intimate, natural wedding portrait with a different perspective. It's interesting not to see the groom's face, the separation between the subjects, and the almost metaphysical environment

COMMENTS: I like photographers who think. This is a masterful creation, mixing all the elements and facial expressions to recreate the feel of the painting “American Gothic.†It is a well thought out photo

This frame is very clean. Great colors, composition, it makes you think of a catwalk in a fashion show.

Beautifully done portrait. Simple as that. Good angle, and the swirl of the veil works well. Simple, glowing, collection of expression and shapes.

Good use of design and color. Simple composition works well. The placement of the couple is just right. The manner in which his hand is touching hers is nice.

This is a more classical portrait picture but the two steady subjects, almost absent like mannequins in the prairie countryside field, make it authorial and creative and ironic and anyway different, interesting.

This is a good idea. A nice way to incorporate the best men and bridesmaids. The photographer portrays motion very well.

Absolute elegance! This is beautiful lighting, beautiful dress and beautiful face. Exceptionally well done technically. Great posing

This was the nicest of the really tight portraits for me. The very narrow focus works well. The angle looking down nicely highlights the lashes and the one strand of hair. Looks good as a black and white.

Not the easiest place to work, but the snow and street scene make for a great portrait. This photographer knows how to handle a camera. It is beautifully executed and captures the faces too

The lighting here is even and compliments the natural colors of the background.

I'm usually not in favor of a tilted horizon, but it works in this case. Good pose for the situation. I would probably tone down the light in the background.

A great natural reportage picture about a wedding. Beautiful light, perfect composition, a multi layers story.

Nice portrait. The red sofa contrasts well with the muted green and the white and black. Good use of selective focus. The pose looks a little forced.

Okay, okay, it's right out of Town and Country. But boy what a nice piece of seeing. Overhead angle works, shape of the dock and boats, great light and the splash (sorry) of the color of the bouquet set off by the otherwise muted color palette.

There is a peacefulness to the scene the photographer must have seen before hand and managed to get the couple out on the dock at the right time. It is compositionally very strong. Very moody, very photographic and well thought out in advance.
