This couple jumped at the opportunity of climbing into this library window for photos. The photos after they got installed in the windows are beautiful but the scramble to the top was the image that made me smile. And it seems it made the WPJA team [judges] smile as well! Thanks for the honors of 1st place.

Dang! It's just odd and funny, hence the category. Where'd she go? One of those frames that is average on purely photographic merits, but long on discussion and humor. Is the bride inside her wedding dress or not? A great humoristic shot.

It took me a few looks to catch on but this is great seeing by the photographer. I hope the bride doesn't mind. I kept coming back to this photo and laughing. You can see the photographer's mind working and seeing this in advance. This is what the good photographer always does. This fact trumps all else with this photo (technically it is a tad off but who cares). As I said above, I like seeing a photographer who thinks.

It may seem a contradiction but the seriousness of the subject and the strange pipe on the table makes this picture extremely fun.

Great expressions on both the young boy and the bridesmaid. You can just feel the boy's embarrassment. The reaction on the people inboy the background work too.

This is the funniest picture. It is a moment caught right. Although technically it could be better. The subject matter wins over this fault.

The cross over of old age with youthful folly makes this picture funny.

A really amusing situation made more interesting by the complete indifference of the child on the back of the car.

A hoot. The potential for raucous behavior runs high at weddings, and here you go. Good angle, filled and interesting framing, wonderful gesture. All of it keeps you involved and laughing.

A great sense of humor used to tell how many obstacles a bride has to overcame during her wedding day

The photographer is ready, the bride throws the bouquet and no one wants it. In this case the award goes to the moment, not the shooter. It was just a standard throwing event but it turned out hysterically.

The bride with the head in the freezer looking for something--priceless.

Gotta go with the dogs, though I want to know more about this situation. It's well composed, too, with the dog on the left having the perfect look for this scene.

Very funny visual play. Took a double take to understand that is a mirror and somehow not that bridesmaid's body. Her expression is wonderful and completes the trick of the eye the camera presents.

A great reaction from the flower girl and her escort. Priceless expression. Did they kiss? You want to know and can only imagine

The three people crying and the happy man speaking remind me of the movie "Four weddings and a funeral
