The lighting here is very good. The blue of the sky makes you feel the cold. The photographer has properly caught the moment, and it's the right moment because everyone in this picture could be an interesting picture on their own. This one easily stood out in the category. Your

Lovely, poetic rendering of a rainy wedding day. Just lovely. Painterly quality of the image, just enough detail so you know what is going on, the gesture of the couple. All works, and really well.

There is a good equality in the composition. And again he or she has caught the right moment. The boots, the umbrella. This is bad weather. And then the wind does its thing and the photographer is ready for it. Quick thinking is what makes this image.

The soft light in this picture adds to the romance of the moment. A "decisive moment" as H.C. Bresson used to say. A spontaneous kiss, love, dynamicity, an instant of life on a rainy day. Has a bit of the singing in the rain, devil may care attitude. Lovely moment between the couple and the raindrops. Good execution, and the moment makes the otherwise dreary scene light up.

Nicely composed, with a good angle. The moment is captured well as the umbrella is perfectly placed, the groom looking back, and the way the bride is holding her dress. Maybe a little too much foreground.

Good, different interpretation which speaks to energy behind the lens and an ability to see the not so obvious. Good postcard or reminder of the day for the couple in the church, getting married on a rainy day. The repetition of the circular elements of the scene doesn't hurt either.

Not only does the wind blow the veil, the bride is still smiling as she tries to get it under control. The photographer had to move fast. I like the quick reaction of the photographer.

Just flat out funny and human. The expressions, tell a huge story, and the bride in all her finery isn't above cooling off in the most down to earth of ways. An out of the way, funny pic showing the heat of the day.

A beautiful moment of spontaneous happiness despite the terrible rainy day...

This would have been second place for me, had it been tack-sharp and toned better. As is, it's still a good moment and you can just feel the mixed emotions on the bride's face: “I'm getting married, but it's so darn wet.†The photo is way too flat, tone wise.

Great look, and impromptu enthusiasm. Has an old feel, like traditional English countryside and laughing at the elements. Just fun, and handled well photographically.

Good creativity on the part of the photographer. The color of the umbrella is what gives this picture an added edge. The raindrops stand out nicely against the limo and the out of focus background.

There is a proper use of elements in this picture. The photographer utilizes all the space in the frame and the fact that the subject is not in an obvious place makes you look at all the details of the picture.

The capacity to capture the joy and the unexpected are concentrated in this beautiful and humoristic picture.

The subject here is framed nicely. Good colors and good light.

Good seeing, and angle. Showing just a little part of the dress takes you to a wedding, and identifies this as the bride and groom.
