Love the feeling of the wedding couple all dressed up and out in the wilderness in the rain. The groom protecting the bride from wet is a lovely and symbolic gesture and the two walking into the wild together is a nice metaphor

A meaningful moment that elicits numerous emotions and thoughts. Also appreciate the many square elements in the frame. Whether it's your first glimpse of your girlfriend in a prom dress or of your future wife in a white gown, it's a bit odd and disconcerting and uncomfortable, since the woman in the picture has the posture of a little girl.

Photographer's Comment
It was a balmy evening on the coast and the wedding was coming to a conclusion. I saw this perfect, intimate moment and couldn't resist capturing it.

Well executed, serendipitous passing bird - conveys a great scense of place. perhaps a little inbalanced, there is a little too much sky.

Good use of the elements available to convey a sense of location very well.

Can't put my finger on what I love this image but all I can say is BRAVO. Really pleased wedding photographers are not just stepping back, but trying to see something differently than “look at this ballroomâ€.

This has very painterly qualities and it is very unusual, very well seen and well done.

Dramatic location, good sense of location. perhaps a little too much tree and too wide.

It's one of those pictures to build a narrative around. Could be a bride who snuck away from the reception, or one who's alone, without family, entering from the hotel hallway. The photograph is more enigmatic than most.

Beautiful seeing. I love the rhythmic pattern of the men and their cigars and the monochromatic color palette

12th Place: Carlo Carletti from Siena, ItalyJudges Comments
Lovely feel, brilliant light and sense of love and solitude. Something tells me the photographer could have moved back futher but either way, very nice.

What should have been a classic wedding scene made messy by framing in a handful of kids. One of the few weddings in context.
