This photo sums up wedding fashion in general. It is a once in a lifetime outfit that takes a lot of planning. It's a scenario that's played out at weddings across the country, and this groom's mother (presumably) thought to bring the illustration of how to tie a bow tie that everyone wishes they had before the ceremony. Great crop/framing. No one ever knows how to tie a tie.

A mundane task is made mysterious and compelling by the diaphanous beauty of the veil and the grace with which the woman holds and steams it. The quality of light and choice of angle contribute greatly to the effectiveness of the image. This photograph looks like an Oriental silk painting. It's gracefully composed in the way her arms parallel the edges of the lacey veil. I might have cropped the doorknob. Pretty composition of the sheer veiling being gently lifted by a pensive woman. It took a few looks to reveal that what she's doing is actually steaming, and not simply reflecting on the beauty of the veil. Beautiful moment captured. Nice light and softness. Very emotional moment along with bride. The light coming through the lace makes this so pretty.

This photo of the bride's solitary walk down the stairs captures everything that's beautiful about her wedding-day look: the sensuous shape of the dress and drape of the fabric, and the elegant chignon that completes her style statement. Just a beautiful moment and nice crop. The background is pleasing with the white dress, graceful staircase mimics her curves. Elegant without being stiff.

Fun to look at and study. Wish the depth of field would have also been as sharp on the hands as on the bracelet. The photographer has captured the sparkle and ornate details of the bride's dress. It is also a great moment. In a bringing together of two cultures, the ancient practice of painting the bride's hands with henna meets the sparkle of a modern day western wedding dress. Both are given almost equal consideration in this photograph, despite the hands being in the foreground of the picture. Love the French manicure and the Indian symbolism.

The three figures are connected well in this photo. I love how the man is brushing the lint off the dog while the dog is being totally captivated by the man holding its leash. Great use of composition and humor. The dog makes the best of his silly ensemble by striking a regal pose. Just a funny photograph. The nervous expression on the dog's face is priceless. He's more nervous than the groom! Nice crop.

This photographer has utilized the medium of black and white to capture the fashion of these bridesmaids. I love how all of them are holding their bags the same way. Very humorous and fun.

Expression speaks volumes even when human is not your native tongue. Tonal range works to blend the bride and her slightly embarrassed pooch into one attire in which the fur seems part of the fabric of her dress.

The composition is striking and lends itself to all sorts of metaphoric attachment. The portholes suggest that all the “eyes†will soon be upon this bride whose veil glows like an aura. The photographer shows us the bride's hand, ready to open the door and make her grand entrance. The photo is striking in its stark simplicity. The blinding white beyond the doors makes one wonder what the bride is looking at. Meanwhile, her veil and dress and bow stand out against the dark doors, and though we don't see all of her outfit we get a good sense of what it's like. Simple, graphic, undemanding image portrays the symbolic instant one door closes and another opens to the rest of your life. This picture has so much going for it. It's perfectly composed, it's graphic, it's rich in texture and it's rich in symbolism. The bride is about to enter into her new world. The portholes on the doors symbolize the eyes of that world, as all eyes are upon the bride on her wedding day. The bride's hand, barely visible, seems hesitant to open the door. This picture so beautifully captures the inner conflict we all face when set out on a new path in life. Are we ready? Are we making the right choice? Time will tell.
