Simply amazing action strengthened by a thinking photographer taking advantage of the lighting contrast. Very strong. I liked the body language and use of light. It was unique and fit the category well. This picture really captures the peak moment of this guy's jump. The low angle puts him above the background subjects and his near-silhouette has almost perfect separation from the lighter background. Another picture that was made when the photographer decided to leave the strobe off the camera

Talk about using every possible inch of the frame. This picture is all about the moment. The garter is in the perfect position. It's red. It pops. As you look around the frame you notice that not one of the subject's eyes are blocked. Fingers frame eyes. Arms frame eyes. But everyone has an eye on the prize. The one thing I might find fault with is the exposure is a bit hot, but I can live with it for such as great moment frozen in time. The composition is good and it is peak action - I really liked where the garter was caught in the frame. Terrific moment.

Just a nice moment on the dance floor! I liked her body language and great expression. Just a nice slice-of-life image. I usually zip right past pictures that utilize on-camera strobe, but the moment is just too perfect on this image. The hair sweeping and the hands clasped and linked. Eyes closed with a joyous smile. I mean, what's not to like?

Not an unexpected image, but a very well executed one in which the photographer has it all – the out reached hands and arms, the bouquet and the reaction of a non-participant too near the action. The diagonals make for an active dynamic image and the photographer did an good job with the lighting ratio between the strobe and the background on the blend or pop flash - freezing the action but maintaining a bit of understated context of the surroundings.

I can only guess what's going on, but whatever it is it's fun. The moment is right on with the groom looking kind of apologetic to his bride and her getting in on the joke. I also like the other boxer-clad guy on the right running out of the frame. The snow flurries also help provide the viewer the clue that it's darn cold out there. The picture is also layered well.

Of the many dancing photos, I liked this the best. I like the composition, the boy's position, and the group watching him. So many of the other dancing photos looked like people who had too much to drink gone wild. This shows lively, fun action and is a wedding people of all ages enjoyed.

Unexpected. Very nice timing. Hard to compete with the cuteness factor. Cleaning up the background with limited depth of field really enhances this moment.

I've never seen silly string at a wedding before, and I'm not sure the groom is very happy about it at his wedding! The photographer captured the groom's discomfort and anxiety to get it off himself. The bride isn't quite as bothered by it, but she isn't as covered with it either.

The get away – love the sense of motion and speed conveyed – makes for a fun image. Also a nice job of blending and dragging the shutter.

Funny image of the cake feeding – fearful of getting another face full perhaps. It is all in the body language and expression. Good lighting ratio between the subjects and the background and like seeing the top of the cake in the frame - tells the story well.

Good location, nice shades, bare feet are all good, but catching the jogger and the his reaction to the couple really makes this a winner. Humorous.

I think this is a fun photograph of the garter being tossed. This group is pretty enthusiastic and look like they're really competing against each other to be the one to catch it.

Unexpected and funny image of the bride flying up on the end of the bell rope. Difficult lighting and slightly loose composition, but the moment makes it.

Great brides expression makes this well timed image a memorable example of the rewards that can come from wading into the action.

I liked the moment and the kid in the air gave the picture a unique touch. Good expressions and good positioning by the photographer.

I like the way the photographer captured the bridal couple running through the reception. It's amusing that the chairs seem to be mimicking the couple's attire.

What a great moment. All of the eligible women getting a hand on the bouquet at the same time has got to be highly unlikely. All of the arms leading to the flowers have a nice graphic feel and the curvature of the background light offers another nice element. Black-and-white really simplifies the image and draws you into the important parts of the picture quicker than color would (in my opinion).

This is a charming scene that made me wonder about the relationship of the couple and the child, who is clearly having a wonderful time being lifted and swung as they walk down the sidewalk together. The photo almost looks like a scene from the past.

The slight look of fear in the bride's expression and cake smeared face of the groom hints at action past and makes you wonder what's about to happen. Anticipation created.

Hilarious moment made by the bride's expression - she can't believe her eyes. Action and reaction in the same picture - good catch. The composition is a bit loose on the top, cropping down just a bit would eliminate some of the non-working space and give the image a better balance.
