This is a wonderful photograph of the wedding setting. Beautiful light, good composition and the red umbrella adds just the spot of color the photo needs to the otherwise muted palette.

UDGES COMMENTS: Great unplanned moment, gift of nature, brings humor to the ceremony that will be remembered for years to come thanks to a photographer who's paying attention and ready for a surprise. Top flight.

Good use of panning to isolate the ring bearer - great way to deal with low available light. Photographer caught him eyeing up and concentrating on his weighty responsibility for his moment in the limelight. Image has a nice feel as even with the blur of the pan the viewer can see that the attendees are watching him. Nothing to criticize about this winner.

This was one of those moments that stood out. A gift for the photographer and for the bride. Great spontaneity captured by the photographer. Not the most unique image in my “"top 10"†but the one that summed up the ceremony best.

What a wonderful moment between the bride and groom. While everyone else is praying, they're stealing a moment for themselves. The bride is looking so devilish considering the situation. The photographer did a nice job of including just enough of the supporting cast without having them detract from the subjects. This is another one of those pictures that just kept moving up in the standings until it couldn't move up anymore

Immediate, active picture that does an excellent job of capturing the feeling and excitement of the rice toss. Like the tight cropping, the bit of layering and slight blur as they work together to put the viewer right there.

This kid is obviously ready for this whole thing to be done with. The moment works well and the crop of the image does too by taking you straight into the the boy. The bridesmaids act as nice frames for the kid. It's also interesting that the boy is in a cast. He's probably counting the seconds until he can escape to the nearest skatepark.

This is something you don't see everyday. The photographer was ready for the drama and made a great picture. The balance of the image is great with the dark limousines acting as big, black borders to the white steam and bride's gown. The limo driver's face is also nicely framed with the door's window. The guy in the background hustling also adds some extra energy to the scene.

This is funny. Riding behind the bride and dad riding an antique limo to the church. Suddenly smoke pours out of the hood and the limo pulls to the side and I ran to capture the "hand-off" of the bride to another car...and the bride relay ended safe and sound and not too late for the ceremony.,

Cute crying kid. Makes you feel for him. Very nice interaction with the priest and the little girl. Heart grabber.

I loved the layers and the energy of this photograph. The unique ceremony did stand out, but so did the intimate way the photographer shot it. Wonderful picture.

I like the composition of this photo; the way the kissing couple are leaning into the frame and the way they frame the man in the background.

Grandeur of her special day is reflected in the face of this bride and elevates the image beyond nice framing to deeper story telling.

Good seeing, tight composition and focus with a long lens captured delight in the bride's eye during the moment of connection between she and the groom - Did he just say, "I do"? Perfect example of paring away everything unnecessary and getting to the essence of the emotional moment.

Another example of good thinking to make a strong image in low light. The image about the rose strewn runner makes an excellent addition to an album as it captures the feeling of anticipation for both the crowd and the participants before the silhouetted bride and her father step through the doorway. For technical perfection, the critical focus could have been placed just a bit more forward. What is behind them is sharper than necessary and the bows in the foreground are quite soft - but then perhaps that was intentional - it does give a dreamy feel that isn't inappropriate.

This photo does a nice job of capturing the couple leaving the church and guests showering them with flower petals. I like the basket coming into the frame, the petals hanging in the air and the expressions on the couple's faces.

Beautiful picture. The emotion of the father is framed well in the scene. The photographer had a great “stage†to work with, but the emotion of the father made this a terrific image. It was a nice idea to pull back- well done.

This image really gives a nice sense of place. The smallish wedding adds a hint of informality. The big sky offers a feeling of living in the country. Add the TV antenna on the roof of the house and you've got a pretty nice slice of country living and a great ceremony shot to boot.
