11th place in Ceremony
The WPJA contest judges presented Dominique Cabrelli, a France wedding photographer, with this Master Piece Award as recognition for top wedding photojournalism in the industry.
The leading documentary wedding photographers in the world enter their best photos to the Wedding Photojournalist Association's photography competitions. They want their wedding reportage photographs to be evaluated and selected by some of the most notable and respected working picture editors and photojournalists in the news industry (these are not wedding photographers or other WPJA members judging their work). Winning these competitions is a true accomplishment for a wedding photographer.

- Great use of the low angle and careful watching of the girl's expression. I would tried to have shifted right a bit to have his arm/sleeve cover up the window in the back, even if it brought out more of the window of his shoulder on the right upper side of the image. That and maybe make it a vertical to lose the 20% at left adding nothing to the image and 20% off the right to get rid of that window.
