1st place in Other Vendors
The WPJA contest judges presented Mark Earthy, a London, United Kingdom wedding photographer, with this Master Piece Award as recognition for top wedding photojournalism in the industry.
The leading documentary wedding photographers in the world enter their best photos to the Wedding Photojournalist Association's photography competitions. They want their wedding reportage photographs to be evaluated and selected by some of the most notable and respected working picture editors and photojournalists in the news industry (these are not wedding photographers or other WPJA members judging their work). Winning these competitions is a true accomplishment for a wedding photographer.

- Another nice server picture. I like the angle and the architectural detail. The exposure picking up the available light in the two flanking rooms give this a nice three-dimensional quality.
- Different view of a routine part of a wedding.
- Nice graphic composition with a little added moment between the wait staff. It’s shot maybe a tad bit too loose for me, maybe a little more tension compositionally would have emphasized the graphic elements of the trays and glasses with the curved line.
- The s-curve line of servers and the colors and mixture of textures make this image.
