This is one of wettest pictures I've ever seen. The woman in the foreground is wet, the woman to the right is wet, both the figures in the back are wet, the air is wet, the flowers are wet, even the woman's hair is impossibly wet. And all those wet elements are nicely composed in a way that give the photo depth and motion. Very nice. This was one of my favorite categories and it had some of the best work in it. I love this image, the realness in it. I like that she is SOAKED by the rain. It really shows some of the drama that can happen on a wedding day. This is one of my favorite images in this competition. I like the mood and motion of this image.

Well thought out and artistic moment. Very nice seeing. The fact that it appears to be the bride and groom walking through the puddle really adds to the image, as well as the elegance of the building reflected. This is almost a gimmick shot, saved by the hands holding up the dress and the deliberate step of the man on the left. With those two elements, which are moments caught by the photographer, it becomes a picture about negotiating a wet day. Nicely done.

Also nice seeing to notice the dry spots around their feet. I probably would not have caught that. Eye-catching and unexpected composition that tells the story of people manning their posts come hell or high water.

It's all about a tie that matches the boots, which match the rainy green of the grass. Add a pink skirt and umbrella, and you've got the perfect stage for a nice moment. Luckily, the photographer found one of those, too, for a picture that makes us laugh a little and gives us the depth to feel real. The tilted horizon seems unnecessary, but doesn't distract from the whole too much.

A surreal photograph with the raindrops seen only against the black suits.

This picture says wind better than all the blow-apart umbrella pictures in the world. Those tablecloths are dancing in the wind, and the photographer was there to record the performance. The photographer brought a brain, too, and made sure that the tables were arranged nicely on their stage so we could appreciate the grace and beauty of the moment.
