I love this picture because it has stripped away almost everything. All that remains is the spirit of kid. Rarely do high-key photos work this well. Wow. Eerie and sweet at the same time.

Good thinking by the photographer to frame the couple with these kids who don't look like they were invited to the wedding.

That face! That face! That fabulous face! What a delight it is to look at the face of this young man with ears not quite as big as the expectant look in his eyes. The boy is looking directly at the camera with a bouquet of beautiful flowers in his slightly outstretched hand. It is almost as if the boy is presenting flowers to the viewer and hoping they are thought as lovely as he thinks they are. Nothing gets in the way of this photograph. The background, most likely the street, is inconsequential. The connection this image makes with the viewer is immediate. You want to bend down and give this lad a big hug! A delightful photograph.

I like the way this was shot, showing the kid is quietly looking at the groom getting ready. It works not seeing the groom's face and even adds to the mystery of the image.

Adults aren't the only ones who watch expectantly for the bride and groom to appear. This little flower girls seems anxious to start the proceedings. What a sweetheart! This photograph has several things working for it. The composition is just about perfect. The girl is framed between the open doors. The doors themselves are dark toned and nicely contrast the girl's pink face and white dress. The look on her face makes this a story-telling photograph rather than simply a portrait

We've seen kids do this hundreds of times at weddings. (Well, okay, I haven't been to hundreds of weddings, but I've still seen a lot of photographs like this one). But this photograph stands out for a number of reasons, including complimentary color palette, simple composition, and decisive moment. And you gotta love those pink shoes

Great moment of the girls. They seem unaware of the photographer.

This is a well composed image that works tonally and is a very nice moment. The problem with a lot of the images in this category is that I was not able to tell if they were at a wedding or not.
