The strong graphics set the stage as the couple rushes towards the light at the end of the tunnel (or stairs, in this case). The glowing bride, the heavenly light ... the picture works both symbolically and, on perhaps a more mundane level, because of the strangeness of the odd, deserted location.

What a picture. Great composition. Great moment. Great faces. I love how the image is divided up into light, dark, light, dark sections. If this was my wedding I'd hang this picture on my wall at 20" x 30". Heck, even it wasn't my wedding I might do the same. Great picture.

This picture uses the empty space well and makes the most out of the compositional elements available. The moment is near perfect and the black-and-white gives it a stronger graphic feel. I also like how the trees on the left of the frame ramp up to the subject's head in a nearly perfect line.

When I think about wedding ACTION this picture said it all. It has great expressions, good composition and even humor. And just like a good sports shot- you got the ball, aka garter!

Warm, dramatic light. The perspective adds great impact and eliminates any distracting elements from the frame.

This was a unique image with outstanding color. I like the offbeat composition and the feeling that I am right there with the happy couple. The blue tie flying makes the image quite lyrical- I liked the energy.

Great moment. Good flash work. Would have liked to see the top cropped a little.

What a wonderful moment to capture. The content alone makes this image appealing, but the composition and framing make it superior.

This picture is the first cake-smearing picture I've ever seen that made me feel like I was watching a 1950s prizefight. He blocks his wife's right hook and beats her to the smear with his right jab. Oh, and the thumb gouging her in the neck is a nice touch. The direct strobe really works with this to give it that fight feel. I'm wondering if they're still married after this little incident.
