Good use of a longer lens to throw everything in the background out of focus drawing the eye to the bride and groom. I liked the fact that there is a virtual window within the snowstorm of falling confetti perfectly framing the couple's kiss. Nice mood.

This picture just made me laugh and put me in the whole wedding experience;smiling, laughing, tension, trust, distrust, anticipation, and who knows what else. It was rare to find a picture in this whole contest that felt so off beat and out of whack, but still communicated so strongly the emotion of the day. I did question whether or not the people who are paying for the photographer would love this picture or not, but I had to go with my gut on this picture and it put me at this event.

Everything works in this image. The colors, the theatrical lighting, the glass of liquid flung through the air and the expressions of the participants. A nice record of the moment.

A humorous photograph well captured. Guests with cameras can sometimes become a distraction. Here the photographer used the situation to their advantage. Good job by the photographer in seeing and capturing a photograph many would ignore or miss.
