The textural depth, moody appeal and architectural features in this image combine to create a timeless and classic setting for an iconic bride whose anonymity enhances the power of this image.

Nice moment. Proximity to the subject and the framing allows viewers to feel like they are in the middle of the event. At the same time, the photographer might be more careful with how the edges are used, the wide-angle distortion and the spacing of each layer.

When I think of the bride on her wedding day, I think “Queen for a Day.†The wedding ceremony is the moment that is all about the bride. This photo captured that concept perfectly. All eyes (and hands ) are on her. Great moment by the photographer.

The photo's at once funny, poignant and provocative. Is the man perturbed? Where is everyone else? Was he early? Is everyone late? Is he contemplating the few hours left of his bachelorhood? The light's effective, particularly the stream that highlights the man. Minor quibble: the slight tilt of the pews. They're too close to being straight: Either skew them more or straighten them so that it doesn't feel like a mistake.

Another picture with a great moment showing the relationship of the two guys in the front pew. The guy in the background adds another interesting element to the frame. Nice seeing.

This image, to me, is just nice layering AND storytelling by the photographer. The moment before the bride's life changes from single to married is captured in the mood of this picture. A bride that was truly looking for the photojournalist's approach to her wedding would love this picture. The photographer should make sure it is in his/her book.

Great moment. The unexpected angle helps this image separate itself from the majority of ceremony photos; good planning by the photographer to shoot from this spot. Though I might have preferred a somewhat softer background (perhaps another stop open?), I suspect the clients prefer it this way so that those in the seats are more recognizable.

Graceful arches and flowing ribbons follow one another to the altar in an image that beautifully uses light against dark to convey a sense of ceremony, romance and elegance without a hint of cliché, despite the familiar setting.

Good anticipation and positioning in order to catch this moment. The expressions add to the joyous feel of the moment at this wedding.
