Sisters? Girlfriends? It doesn't really matter ... the image let's you quietly share in a tearful but most likely joyful embrace. The champagne glasses and microphone in the foreground are a nice touch, giving context to the moment but not cluttering the frame.

Simply an excellent job of capturing the petulant stare of a headstrong bridesmaid who obviously is annoyed by something off camera.

I always tell my students to go for a "great face." This photograph tells the whole story- proud Dad savors a moment with his daughter. What wedding photojournalists bring to this industry is strong storytelling. This image is quiet, but tells a great story- I would love to have this image of me and my dad. Nice moment. Only one complaint- I wish it had a little less depth of field. When you know you have that great of a face- take your DoF down to knock out that background a little more.

It's such a sweet, gentle moment ... the simplicity of the image supports the bride's tender touch. Sometimes you get lucky: the hair falling over the bride's eyes at other times might be a problem, but here it helps one to focus on the man's emotional face.

When you think about what images are symbolic of a wedding day- an image that portrays the intensity of love. It is an emotion that sometimes escapes the photojournalist as we go for the cake fights and rice tosses. This image is beautiful and intimate. Nice image and perfectly shot, from composition to good use of depth of field.

This photo seemed the most natural, the most serene. A great portrait of the couple.

Nice moment between the bride and her father. Lighthearted, which is nice.
