Nice job utilizing the elements of the room with some narrow lighting to create a dramatic, graphical photo. Very interesting, strong design and unique composition.

Very interesting choice of background and use of light. The selective focus and blurring is a little too obvious for this image and adversely conflicts with the environment. I think the image would be stronger without the diffusion, instead isolating the talent with the use of selective darkening.

This one could have easily been first. A beautiful photo utilizing a cool (spectrum-speaking) color palette of blues to emphasize the lovely blue eyes of the subject. Of all the photos in this category, this was the most flattering to the subject.

One of the few images in the competition where obvious manipulation created an aesthetic enhancement and additional interest. This image captures a timeless beauty.

Great light and design. Classic image very well executed. Nice, elegant portrait of a bride….A nice sense of flow and movement within the frame. Enhancement is subtle, not blatant, which is always nice.

I liked this photo for the good sense of color and the composition used by the photographer. Look at all the graphic elements in the photo with all the vertical/horizontal shapes and frame within the frame quality. The expressions on the couple's faces makes it a very tender portrait. I only wished the couple's face was (a little bit) sharper despite the softening filter used. My eyes keeps on trying to focus and I find it distracting.

Tells a good story hinting at the stormy days in their future that they seem to be ready to face.
