Oh man, I just love the feel of this photo. This is one of those photos that just works really well on a subconscious level, which of course makes it hard to explain on a conscious level. The color of the image, the graininess, the highlights on the back arm and hand, the tension in the hand and the wrinkle on the dress where it's touched by the hand. All the elements just come together really nicely here.

This is, by far, my most favorite photo out of the group. It is humorous, fun, and unexpected. The photographer was able to capture such a fun and fleeting moment. I like the fact that the soft focus enhancement is subtle and adds to the romantic mood and light.

Great detail and use of color – beautiful tonality and very interesting. Wow, what a lovely photo of the mendhi artwork. The photographer did a nice job capturing all the different details and textures of the intricate (customary Indian) artwork, using soft, even lighting. The darkening the edges helps our eyes to go to the details on the bride's hands. I like the fact that the details and shapes on the wedding sari is reminiscent of the details of the mendhi artwork.

The photographer did a great job capturing the details of this simple but classic dress. It is a simple photo but oh so elegant…Gorgeous use of light. Use of black and white also makes this photo look so timeless.

The abstract quality of the light adds to a very interesting composition.
